Designing and Selling an Idea

Designing and Selling an Idea

For the creative thinking-based unit under the Global Context ‘Fairness and Development’, MYP 2 and 3 students identified a problem and devised a solution. Using the sources studied in class as examples, students conducted research to design a prototype for the problem that tried to solve.

As a culminating project, students participated in a simulation of Shark Tank, in which they  presented their outcome/solution to a couple of local business men and entrepreneurs as well as school teachers, in order to describe the purpose and benefits of their products as well as their creative and design processes. Students received real-life feedback about their learning.

Below are a few images from students’ presentation.
