学习散步的收获 (Learning walks highlights)

今年的九月和十月的第一周,Andrew老师和我进行了我们称之为“学习散步”的过程。我们会坐在一堂课里,仔细观察周围发生的每一件事。听完一堂课后,参与学习散步者和老师们交流他们的所见、所闻和意外的收获。被观察的课堂老师会得到一份总结。 参加学习散步让我有机会以不同的方式进行反思:观察和聆听的同时,我和我的同伴交流我的看法;当我在电脑上打下报告时,我对信息进行了消化。每次观察,对此的交流可能是其中最精彩的部分,因为我有机会换角度观察,看到新的探究如何产生。 回顾这个过程,我认为有一些记录应该与QAIS校区所有成员分享。有以下表现的教师对号入座,并请继续这么做。 精彩部分: 考虑到学生的不同学习风格,有一些教师布置给学生的任务各不相同,甚至是五花八门,令人赞叹。 有些教师非常擅长利用学生的评论,来加大探究学习的深度。 有些教师采用一套有规律的方法激发学生注意力和投入性,帮助他们在课堂上积极参与,并更好地理解特殊活动里他们各自的任务和角色。 有些教师有时会完全扔开那些让人忙活不停的教案和活动表,带学生们进行有助于深刻思考的活动。 有些教师非常善于根据现场情况跟学生互动,讨论他们的学习。 有些教师在教课的同时也总是担负起语言教学的责任,加强学生的词汇和语言结构学习,并督促他们在课堂上作相应的书写和表达。 有些教师会压缩老师主讲的时间,给学生讨论留出空间。 有些教师非常善于利用图画影像来阐释概念和语言。 有些教师能够很平静而有效地掌控课堂秩序。 有些教师乐于把自己对书籍的热爱传播给学生,培养学生对阅读的热情。 有些教师始终鼓励学生将小学和中学探究学习的中心概念以及探究目标进行回顾和阐释。 有一位教师在有意识地促进培养学生的成长型思维模式。 有一位老师以同样的探究学习者的角度与学生相处,让学生敢于尝试新的可能。 所带来的可能性: 一些教师可以向另一些教师学习,利用学生帮助英语较弱的学生 。 教师的教学策略可以变得多元化。 学生在即兴互动的学习中的表现可能与常规科目学习的表现并不一样,通过对比,老师将会发现出学生未知的潜在特质。 老师们有机会反思自己的教学。 老师们将会利用这个机会与其他课程发生关联。
